Making an Honor/Memorial Gift by Mail

If you would like to mail us a donation in honor or memory of a loved one, please send your donation to:

Include with your gift the name of the person or pet the gift is in honor/memory of, as well as the name and address of the person you would like to be notified of the gift. We will send the recipient a letter notifying them of your donation.

Donations in Lieu of Flowers

Memorial gifts can be made in lieu of flowers to Dakin Humane Society to honor the memory of a loved one. Please instruct family and friends to mail their donations to:

About Notification Letters

All notification letters are mailed weekly on Mondays. Letters for any honorary or memorial donations received on a Monday will be sent in the following week’s letter batch.

Letters will include all donations received during the week in honor/memory of a person or pet.

Unless you specifically ask us to, we never disclose your donation amount but will provide the recipient with your name and mailing address should they wish to send you a thank you.

We would be happy to include any special message you’d like added to the notification letter.
